Founded in 2022, Follow the Sun was born after a deep dive into the agricultural and the food processing industry in East Africa, which is experiencing growth and transformation. Kenya has a large, thriving fertile land base, ideal weather conditions, and a large farming population that can grow all of its food and consistently produces surpluses. However barriers for Kenyan farmers and food processing are very evident and prevent them from achieving their full potential. We help farmers by supporting projects from soil to plate, with a focus on the retail, processing and value added products to the National Retail Market, as well as Africa – UAE trade route, and with a view to expand to new markets in SAMEA and the Southern EU.
